If you're new to those terms, the chart below should make it clear enough: Hue is the color, Value is the distance from black, (and saturation, not shown, is the color intensity). I believe the color blue of her clothing was very intentional and not only for esthetic and artistic reasons. Above is a photo of the new green Distance ball (right) next to an older version (left). As you can see, the color is more neon on the Distance ball, which I feel is a big improvement. Feeling blue is defined as being sad or unhappy but those terms barely scratch the surface of an emotional state that runs much deeper than sadness or unhappiness. But it was much more elegant in the way it described things. Its outputs are not only a color, but also an integer color index and the distance to the center of the hexagonal cell. Blue is the color of purity, communication, and distance. The shader has 3 different colors as input parameters and a coordinate. That scarf is just beautiful, it looks like a peacock feather pattern from a distance and the color is just stunning on you.
